I saw a woman very carefully placing a dragon fly in foliage surrounding a tree on the sidewalk. When I asked her if she lived in the building where the tree was, she said she was homeless and had seen the dragonfly on the sidewalk, obviously hurt. So she carried it to the foliage to have a comfortable place to die! Sometimes it takes a person who have fallen out of society to understand what a little concern can do, even for an insect.

Meet Melanie and Becky
These two young ladies are on a summer internship helping youth groups. We had a very nice conversation on literature and religion, among other things. They expressed a Christianity based on love and understanding. In this day of hate and intolerance it was refreshing to meet people with such a balanced view of life. I salute you; you are the future!
