Fellow Guests and Hosts at the Villa Fabbroni

Feasting on pizza in the Tuscan Hills.

This is Vaughan. To celebrate his fiftieth birthday he brought many of his family and friends together at the Villa Fabbroni.

This is Barry. A close personal friend of Vaughan's.

This is Peter, Vaughan's father.

This is Ravi. Possibly one of the most centered people in the universe.

Everyday Scenes of Rome

The famous Spanish Steps. Made from real Spaniards.

Posters. Obviously. And a bike.

Rome has the most artistic building decorations.

Somehow defacing old old old buildings seems so much worse than in more modern settings.

Rome. The city of motor scooters.

The Pantheon. Mentioned yesterday but not shown.

Roman ruins, as one might suspect, are everywhere in Rome.

You can see the remains of some frescos on the inside wall.

First Full Day in Rome.

The view from our window.

Our street, the Vicolo Delle Palle.

There's all sorts of cool stuff in Rome down just about every street.

We first visited the Pantheon, the oldest complete structure in Rome.

After visiting the Parthenon we had lunch at a nearby restaurant. Generous portions to say the least.

The Vatican Museum has all sorts of awesome art.

Ann Marie, Lucy and I saw the Sistine Chapel with a few hundred friends.
