I saw a woman very carefully placing a dragon fly in foliage surrounding a tree on the sidewalk.  When I asked her if she lived in the building where the tree was, she said she was homeless and had seen the dragonfly on the sidewalk, obviously hurt.  So she carried it to the foliage to have a comfortable place to die!  Sometimes it takes a person who have fallen out of society to understand what a little concern can do, even for an insect.
