Fourth of July panorama

The smoke from the fireworks was so thick the Freedom Tower, except for the beacon, was totally obscured.  And we could see the New Jersey fireworks.

Because the fireworks were at the Brooklyn Bridge, and because of the curvature of the East River, the fireworks were directly behind the 14th Street power station.
